Third-party authorities with HUB24 Super
✓ Verified August 2026Does HUB24 Super require its own form?
Own form/process required — no evidence HUB24 accepts a generic signed authority letter for adviser access, and whether an information-only generic authority is honoured is unverified. HUB24's model is adviser-linked accounts: the adviser must be registered on the platform (Adviser Registration Application, under a HUB24-registered licensee) and an incoming adviser is appointed to an existing member's account via HUB24's own 'Change of Adviser Form' (confirmed as an official HUB24 form in its 'Forms and instructions — where we can receive an electronic signature' schedule). Support staff get access via the Approved User Registration Application (obtained by calling 1300 854 994). Evidence: HUB24 e-signature schedule PDF lists 'Change of Adviser Form'; licensee/adviser registration page states registration forms go to admin@hub24.com.au.
Form details
Change of Adviser Form: current PDF is not publicly linked — it sits behind AdviserHUB / my.hub24.com.au document IDs (public deep-link attempts return 404); obtain via AdviserHUB or 1300 854 994. Signature rules (from HUB24's own e-signature schedule, published April 2020 — dated, treat as indicative): Change of Adviser Form accepts wet, digital AND electronic signatures; by contrast binding/reversionary beneficiary nominations, POA documents, TFN declarations and certified documents remain wet-signature-only. Adviser Registration Application: https://my.hub24.com.au/Hub24/public/documents/documents?id=Adviser+Registration+Application+Form (send with supporting docs to admin@hub24.com.au). Account number needed for member-level instructions. Validity/expiry: HUB24's own documents state no expiry rule; a Class Support article snippet reports HUB24 does not accept authority forms dated more than 90 days after signing (direct verification blocked — HTTP 403; treat as unverified but plausible staleness rule).
Where and how to lodge
Email admin@hub24.com.au is HUB24's standard channel for completed forms (stated on its registration forms and SMSF Establishment Service Guide, which also allows adviser upload of executed documents via AdviserHUB). Post: GPO Box 529, Sydney NSW 2001. Fax: 1300 781 689 (still printed on current complaints letterhead). Platform instructions for appointed advisers are executed digitally inside AdviserHUB rather than by form. Fastest channel for an already-appointed adviser: AdviserHUB; for paper/PDF authorities: admin@hub24.com.au. No dedicated TPA email exists — unverified whether one is used internally.
Published turnaround
No published turnaround/service standard for information requests or change-of-adviser processing was found on hub24.com.au — unverified. The only published timeframes are complaints-related (below). HUB24 markets fast platform processing but commits to no numeric SLA in public documents.
Watch-outs
1) Public form links rot: my.hub24.com.au public document IDs frequently 404 — SuperChase cannot reliably deep-link HUB24 forms; they live behind AdviserHUB login or must be requested on 1300 854 994. 2) Reported 90-day staleness rule: a Class Support integration article indicates HUB24 rejects authority forms signed more than 90 days before lodgement (unverified directly — fetch blocked). 3) The e-signature acceptance schedule is dated April 2020; relying on it for edge-case forms risks rejection — binding beneficiary nominations, POA and TFN declarations are wet-only. 4) Adviser must be registered under a HUB24-registered licensee BEFORE a Change of Adviser can be actioned — a licensee-level registration (sent to admin@hub24.com.au with supporting docs) can add substantial lead time for advisers new to the platform. 5) Members who lose their adviser are shifted to a restricted non-advised service with a limited menu — relevant when an incumbent adviser is removed before the incoming adviser's appointment is processed (gap in visibility). 6) No published SLA means follow-up cadence must be assumption-based; no adviser-forum turnaround complaints specifically about HUB24 TPAs were located (searched; none found — HUB24 generally rates well on adviser satisfaction).
If they go quiet
Lodge with the Complaints Officer: email complaints@hub24.com.au; phone 1300 854 994 (8am–7pm Sydney time); post The Complaints Officer, HUB24 Custodial Services Ltd, GPO Box 529, Sydney NSW 2001. Published commitments (Complaints and Dispute Resolution Process, Nov 2024): aims to resolve most issues within 14 calendar days; standard/financial-advice complaints within 30 calendar days; superannuation complaints (except death benefit distributions) within 45 calendar days; death benefit distribution complaints within 90 calendar days after expiry of the 28-day objection period. Escalation: AFCA — GPO Box 3 Melbourne VIC 3001, 1800 931 678, info@afca.org.au. Note: super-trustee (HTFS Nominees) complaints route through the same HUB24 channels.
Under s1017C of the Corporations Act, a trustee must make reasonable efforts to comply with an information request within one month. If HUB24 Super exceeds its own published standard, a formal internal-dispute-resolution complaint starts a 45-calendar-day clock under ASIC Regulatory Guide 271 — with AFCA as the next stop.
